The familiar textile process of crochet is transformed through process driven design. Usually soft and pliable fabrics are entrapped, altering the expected properties to form fragile structures. The resulting objects are versatile as well as beautiful, and suitable for a wide variety of environments.

Inspired by microbiology and the world around us, Anna Krystyna's range is a menagerie of unusual pieces. Exploiting the chemical reactions and carefully controlling and manipulating the materials, each piece is unable to be replicated exactly. The versatile techniques and imagery are translated into sculptures and wall art and an accompanying range of homeware and jewellery.
