Linda Marie Young creates luxurious boxes by layering fabrics and papers with intricate embroidery, combining texture and detail through heat manipulation, print and delicate cutwork by hand.

Inspired by 1920’s curiosity shops, adverts, English flowers and cherished heirlooms, every nostalgic box is made to treasure, opening out beautifully as elegant, ornamental interior works of art, or closed to collect precious keepsakes in, or make splendid gifts to treat loved ones.

Linda has exhibited at the V&A, Lustre and The Knitting & Stitching shows, been featured in Selvedge and has won the Creative Leicestershire Bursary and Embroiderers’ Guild Scholarship Award. Linda is also a part-time lecturer and runs her own workshops.
