Summer 2012 sees the launch of Sculpture Barn, a relaxed and friendly setting to learn to create your own unique sculptures. Providing workshops for all ages and abilities, tailored to your interests and needs. From basic stone carving to sculpting in marble, wire, clay, even forge work!

Current workshops available include:

Wire sculpture - Rufford Country Park and Crafts Centre 25th August 2012 
5 hour course: £65 all inclusive
10.30 - 4.30 (1 hour lunch break, bring your own pack lunch or buy it at the cafe!)
Learn to manipulate chicken wire and modeling wire to create your own unique sculpture. Suitable for indoor or outdoor display. 

Sculpture weekend Rufford Country Park and Crafts Centre 22nd & 23rd September 2012
2 day course: £150 all inclusive
10.30 - 4.30 (1 hour lunch break, bring your own pack lunch or buy it at the cafe!)
The weekend course allows you more time to experiment and be more adventurous with your sculptures. You'll learn to manipulate wire in to your desired form to create substantial sculptures, perhaps a life size Heron, dog or dear its up to you what you create just turn up with lots of ideas. Sculptures can be left as wire or cover your form with modroc, providing you with a surface to paint and a completely different look to your sculpture.
