Category: Exhibition Opportunities

The organiser of the renowned Desire Jewellery and Silversmithing Fairs is pleased to announce their 2013 dates and a new venue for their London event.

The London event, previously held in Richmond Upon Thames, will be taking place at The Kensington Conference and Events Centre from 15-17 March 2013 and the Winchester event will once again be held at the prestigious Guildhall from 15-17 November. The new London venue situated in the heart of Kensington and boasting striking contemporary architecture is just a few minutes' walk from the underground station.  The event here is sure to be very popular with both exhibitors and visitors given its location in this area of London. Demand for stands is expected to be high.

Show organiser, Rob Chapman, commented 'we are so excited to be staging our Desire Fair in this central London venue which is so accessible and a perfect backdrop to the standard of work which will be on show at our Desire Fair.  We have always received fantastic feedback from exhibitors and visitors as there is really nothing else quite like it in the UK and we know that by bringing the Desire Fair to the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea we will attract even more visitors to this amazing event. "

These mixed media jewellery and silversmithing events where visitors can purchase direct from contemporary designer makers select individual jewellers and silversmiths for their superb and innovative craftsmanship and feature emerging British talent as well as more established makers.  The fairs have, in the past, featured jewellers working in leather, acrylic, ceramics, paper, glass, copper and wood as well as more traditional silver, gold and platinum jewellery featuring gemstones, pearls, beads and enamelwork.

In 2013 the London show will also feature a number of stands of interest to the public associated with jewellery and silversmithing and the organisers are keen to hear from colleges offering courses and workshops, magazines, etc that wish to raise their awareness to the public.
