Learn how to make silver rings, bracelets, pendants and earrings with Design Factory designer/maker member Kate Bajic.

All workshops at the Creative Learning Centre at Rufford Craft Centre.

Silver Bracelets: £65
Saturday 27th February 2010 and Saturday 1st May 2010: 10.30am - 4.30pm
Create 2 types of silver bracelets. Decorate the surface of a made to measure bangle and gain the skills to create a link bracelet. This workshop will introduce you to techniques including soldering, forming, sawing, hammering and filing.

Silver Rings: £60
Saturday 13th March 2010: 10.30am - 4.30pm
Learn techniques including soldering, forming, sawing, hammering and filing to produce 3 silver rings with a variety of high quality finishes.

Silver Pendants: £60
Saturday 8th May: 10.30am - 4.30pm
Design and make a pendant using a combination of silver sheet and wire and a range of techniques including piercing, soldering, hammering, doming, filing and surface decoration. Bring a chain, ribbon or cord with you so you can wear your pendant at the end of the day. There will also be some lengths of chain/cable available to buy on the day.

Silver Earrings: £60
Saturday 10th July 2010: 10.30am - 4.30pm
This workshop offers the opportunity to have a go at making drop, stud and hoop earrings from silver sheet and wire. Explore a variety of techniques including soldering, doming, sawing, hammering and filing.

All workshops are suitable for those with no previous experience of making, as well as those looking to improve their skills. All tools and materials are included in the workshop fee and additional silver and stones are available to purchase on the day.
