Design Factory associate member Hannah Bates has had an exciting couple of weeks - after starring as a case study on Design Factory's website, she had a massive confidence boost and started applying for other exhibitions and gallery shops - and it has payed off!
First Hannah took a selection of her work to Artful Expression in Birmingham's Jewellery Quarter and they are now stocking Hannah's jewellery pieces until the end of January 2010, carrying both her ranges, Acrylic Bar and Solace, all the pieces from Hannah's website, as well as 2 new additions to the Bar range in the form of stud earrings and a drop style pendant.
Then Hannah received confirmation that all 3 of the pieces from her Solace Collection had been selected for the Open 21 exhibition at Leicester's City Gallery, which is now open until 9th January 2010.
This prestigious exhibition is celebrating its 21st anniversary this year. A visually stunning and diverse exhibition, presenting a dynamic array of artworks and contemporary craft by artists from Leicester, Leicestershire and the East Midlands.

Congratulations Hannah - all your hard work is paying off!
