Getting to know your Own Sewing Machine Workshop 8th August 10 - 4 pm
Fee: £40
If you have recently bought a sewing machine or have never really understood how to use all the stitches and feet that came with your sewing machine, then this course is for you. Suitable for students new to sewing or those wanting to get the best from their machine and gain the confidence to use the machine to its full potential.
Come and learn the art of basic sewing & make a cushion.
All fabric included.
 
3D Felt Bag Workshop 1st July 10 - 4pm
Fee: £40
Why not treat yourself to an indulgent day of felt, friends and fun. Using a wet felting technique you will design and make a bag to take home at the end of the day.The felt making course covers all felt making basics, and allows you to complete felting a 3D shape all in one day.
All equipment and fibres provided for 1 bag just need to bring a beach towel and apron.
 
Seed Bead Bracelets Workshop with Claire Barber 26th July 10 – 2pm
Fee: £25
Learn the basics of seed beading and learn how to make 2 different styles of bracelet using Japanese and Czech glass seed beads. Once you've mastered these stitches, you can try necklaces, accessories, napkin rings, using pearls, crystals - the possibilities are endless! includes equipment, seed beads and refreshments

Sewing Machine Basics Workshop £35
No skills or experience required! A six hour workshop (split over 2 evenings or one day – see below for available dates) that will take you through the basics of threading a machine, loading a bobbin, sewing a straight stitch, sewing seams, inserting a zip and much more! Ideal for anyone with little or no experience using a sewing machine or for someone who’s interested in a refresher course. And you get to make a simple zipped bag to take home! All fabric included.

Print and Applique Girls Shift Dress 11th July 10 - 4pm

Learn how to make your own beautiful Shift dress for one you love or just to know basic dress making. Learn in the morning basic printing and applique. In the afternoon make up the dress. Basic cotton included but please bring alternative fabrics if you have a specific fabric / col in mind.
