Calling all creatives - Perception Exhibiton
Category: Exhibition Opportunities

Perception invites artists to exhibit in a show that is being curating in support of the Royal National Institue of Blind people (RNIB), a charity supporting blind and partially sighted people in the UK.

They aim to create an event which celebrates the senses and challenge people's expectations of the traditional enmxhibition enviroent through a multi-sensory experience, that will emotionally engage participants through experiments in all avenues of perception. Contrary to traditional exhibitions, visitors are encourage to touch and interact with the work and listen to the stimulus around them to create a narrative for themselves.

Submissions from musicians, performers, designers, sculptors, painters, printmakers, story tellers, sound artists, directors, writers and everything in between are being sought to help make this an exciting experience for people of all ages and backgrounds.

Perception would like the exhibition to be an accessible experience for blind and partially sighted people. Artists will be encouraged to record their own descriptions so that the work can interact with the audience on more levels than visual perception and this will be strongly taken into account when reviewing submissions.
