Salary: £27,000 (pro rata)
2.5 days  per week (18.75hrs) until 31st March 2015

Wirksworth Festival is now firmly established as a leading rural art festival, attracting artists and visitors from throughout the country to explore the fascinating Derbyshire market town.

The Festival Manager will coordinate the planning, marketing  and delivery of the festival, helping to shape the artistic programme and developing a strong volunteer base. They will manage all operational aspects of the festival including finances, HR, and office management.

The successful applicant will have at least three years experience of arts project management, with a proven track record in community engagement and participation in the arts.  They will be an excellent communicator, have effective administration skills and be passionate about the arts. In return we'll offer a wonderful place to work, with a wide and varied range of experience.
