Design Factory Flow member Michelle Arieu, was truly thrilled to receive last Thursday at the University for the Creative Arts, UCA, London, the New Ashgate Gallery Rising Stars 2012 Prize.

Dr Outi Remes, New Ashgate Director said "With our thanks to Andrew and Lucinda Fleming, we are delighted to announce that Michelle Arieu has won the 2012 Rising Stars Professional Development Prize. The Prize was selected by Outi Remes, the New Ashgate, Rebecca Skeels, UCA and Amy Collins, the Farnham Maltings. The panel is inspired by Michelle's way to bring together fine art and craft. Her work is a beautiful fusion of ancient Japanese designs and Italian architecture which she combines with contemporary forms of serene beauty".
