Design Factory's regional exhibition: Desire

In partnership with 78 Derngate, Design Factory presents Desire 2009, the latest in a series of exhibitions that showcases selected Design Factory members at a range of prestigious venues across the East Midlands.

Desire is being held at 78 Derngate in Northampton runs until Sunday 12th July 2009, featuring 10 selected Design Factory designer/maker members.

Winner of the 2008 Enjoy England Gold Award for Best Small Visitor Attraction for the East Midlands, 78 Derngate: The Charles Rennie Mackintosh House & Galleries is now recognised as the place to visit in Northampton.

The house at 78 Derngate was remodelled by the world-famous designer and architect, Charles Rennie Mackintosh in his iconic Modernist style.

The Gallery Upstairs is free to enter and has a series of exhibitions throughout 2009 selling and showing the best in contemporary craft. The Dining Room, the in-house boutique-style restaurant offers a full range of delicious contemporary cuisine, while the shop and craft display have numerous unique gifts.
