55 of the country’s finest contemporary craft makers, including 17 Design Factory members, were selling everything from fine jewellery, bags and hats to sculptural vases and tableware at Lustre in November. 

Each maker who took part was specially selected for the quality and uniqueness of their craft and they were on hand to talk about the ideas and techniques behind their work.

Launching their work in the new Young Meteors section were Design Factory associate members Samantha Robinson and Phiona Richards.   Young Meteors showcases stunning creations by the best of the emerging graduate talent from universities in the East Midlands - and offers a chance to own an original piece by one of tomorrow’s big names.
