Design Factory offers a range of grant and bursary funding:

Marketing Grants for creative businesses in Newark and Sherwood and Derbyshire.  Maximum grant of £500 is available for businesses wishing to develop their current marketing activities.  Applicants do not have to be registered members of Design Factory.

Market Development Grant for selected members looking to investigate and develop new markets and new products.   Maximum grant of £1500 is available.

Bursary funding for selected members exhibiting at 100% Design or Somerset House.  Maximum grant of £600 is available to selected designer/makers.

THE BUSINESS START-UP GUIDE FOR DESIGNERS 2005

Design Factory is proud to be a partner and sponsor of this extremely popular Guide that is now in its third edition following a major updating.

The Design Factory team provides one-to-one business support to all Designer/makers, Manufacturers and Associates.  We can provide mentoring and advice on issues such as marketing; market development; design mentoring; creating new business opportunities; new product development; innovation; business planning; and promotion.  We can also signpost and refer to other organisations and specialists.
